"It's a Marsh Mellow World"

This morning I woke up to see everything covered in snow, which was really exciting because we've all been wanting it to snow. So today we went out and played in the snow and I took some pictures. We went down to the forest by our house where I took these photo's.

After we came back up we played around a little bit. Then we decided to cover these little metal frog things we have in our yard. We ended up turning them into a snow Dalek. You know you're obsessed with something when you create it out of snow. :)   Doctor Who is awesome in case you didn't already know.

Then we came back inside and Alina and I did some writing and Daniel stayed outside a little while longer. So today's been a good day.

December

It's December which means Christmas is just around the corner. It also means lots of Christmas decorations, cold weather, hot cocoa, and Christmas lights. And that means lots of pictures! I love taking bokeh pictures of all the lights. Last night I got out the Christmas decoration's and lights and decked my room with 'em all while listening to Christmas music.

This is my desk area where I've been spending a lot of time lately doing a bit of drawing. I was just messing around with my camera last night and thought this picture turned out kind of cool.

Here's my latest drawing I've done. Just in case you don't already know, it's Rapunzel from Tangled.

It's been so cold here and we had some hail and some slush the other day, but so far no snow. But I like cold weather, it means I get to wear cozy gloves, scarves, and cowls. And I get to drink lot's of hot chocolate. : )

Black Friday+Frozen

On Black Friday I went shopping with my mom and sister at five in the morning. We had a lot of fun as usual and this was our first time doing this without anyone else with us. So it was a little different, but definitely fun! We started off by going to the Lego store and the Disney store. I bought the Frozen soundtrack while I was in the Disney store. They didn't have the soundtracks out on the shelves so I had to ask if they had them, and they did. I ended up buying the very first one they had!

After that we did as we always do and went to Starbucks and got frappuccino's. Alina and I dressed up in Anna and Elsa inspired outfits and used Anna and Elsa as our names at Starbucks. We had been looking forward to seeing Frozen for a long time, so we were super excited to get to see it that day.

Alina (AKA Elsa) and me (AKA Anna) with out drinks and the Frozen soundtrack.
After we finished all of our shopping we went to Panera Bread and had some lunch before heading to the theater to see Frozen. It was really weird for us to be seeing a movie only two days after it being released in theaters. We usually wait for it to come out on Blu-ray to see it, but we were too excited and had to see it in theaters.

Frozen was such a good movie! It was fun, had some good twists, the music is really good, and it had a good message. I think I like it better than Tangled. I loved all of Anna and Elsa's costumes and am going to have to make some of them sometime. Both Alina and I want to go see it again.

Overall, both Black Friday and Frozen were fantastic!
