Christmas Eve

As I'm sure you're probably aware, today is Christmas Eve. The day before Christmas. Most people on Christmas Eve are getting excited to open presents early the next morning after Santa Clause drops them off. I don't know about you, but Christmas is kind of different for my family.

We opened presents this morning. I grew up never believing in Santa and we always opened our gifts on Christmas Eve night. A few years ago we opened gifts on Christmas morning for the first time. We all agreed that we liked opening presents in the morning better and the last few years have done it either Christmas morning or like this year, on Christmas Eve morning. That way we have more time to play with our gifts. Besides, it also means we have to wait one less day. ;)

Well, anyways. I woke up a little before six this morning and couldn't sleep so I decided to just get up. I got dressed into my 'Christmas clothing' which consists of my plaid skirt I made the other day, a red sweater, red and white striped socks with jingle bells on them, a jingle bell necklace, and Santa hat.

When I came out of my room I found Sereina was awake and we went to wake up Alina and Daniel. As soon as we entered the room Daniel jumped out of bed and Alina came, but a bit slower.

We always start by opening our stockings. I got a Michael Buble album and the Ever After soundtrack. I'm a huge Michael Buble fan, so I was really excited to see that. I also got a pack of chocolate waxy doughnuts which I may or may not have finished already. ;)

I got so many awesome gifts, but here's the main one's.

An Olaf boble head. Isn't this the best?!

Here's the soundtracks I got.

I've been eyeing this mug since I first saw it at the Disney Store. Isn't it awesome?!

My mom got me this awesome leather sketchbook. I'm always looking at the leather books at Hobby Lobby and wishing I could get one.

I got the Kristoff doll, which completed my Frozen doll collection.

And this is my favorite. It's a Phantom of the Opera mask necklace. I wasn't expecting this at all, and it's so great! I can't wait to wear it when I see the show next year!

After hanging out for a while admiring all of our gifts, we went to the mall. I found some awesome stuff at Target on clearance and got some drawing supplies from the Japanese 1.50 store. We had BLT's for dinner and now we're back to admiring our gifts. Well, the rest of my family is. I'm here listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album (which is available for free right now on Google Play) while writing this post. ;D

But I think that's it.

Merry Christmas!
